About our reference files
The reference files used for this website were downloaded on 26 September 2026. This is the download date, not the original publication date or proof that any bank or branch is currently active.

BSR directory: CPAO
Our BSR records are attributed to the Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO) BSR Code Directory. They include bank branch details and, where recorded, pension-paying, link and nodal branch information.

IFSC reference: RBI
Our IFSC reference is attributed to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). We compare the IFSC in a BSR entry with this separate reference. When the codes match, we show the reference details alongside the BSR record.

Postal reference: data.gov.in
Our postal reference is attributed to the Open Government Data Platform India (data.gov.in). It helps explain the postal area associated with a PIN code. A PIN match does not show the exact location of a bank.

The exact data.gov.in resource and licence for our downloaded file have not been confirmed. Post office coordinates and DIGIPINs are not presented as bank coordinates.

How we compare records
We start with the BSR record and compare its IFSC and PIN code with the other references. We show a match only when the recorded code agrees. When addresses or states differ, we show the source details separately.
These checks compare files. They do not confirm current branch services, payment acceptance or pension arrangements.
