Cookies and browser storage
Understand what your browser may save when you use the directory and how to manage it.
What browser storage means
A cookie is a small piece of information saved by a website in your browser. Local storage and the browser cache are other ways to save data on your device. They serve different purposes and can be managed in your browser settings.
Your colour theme
If you choose a light or dark theme, the website may remember that choice in local storage. This preference does not require an account. Clearing it returns the website to its default theme behaviour.
Search files and page loading
Your browser may keep copies of search files so that it can load them faster. The website does not set a search-history cookie. Hosting services may still receive requests for pages and files; clearing your browser data does not remove records held by those services.
AMP page files
AMP pages use files from cdn.ampproject.org. Your browser may keep copies in its normal cache. These file requests are explained in our privacy policy. AMP pages do not save a colour theme choice. AMP ads are limited to visits identified as coming from India. AMP checks your approximate location using your IP address. Ads stay blocked outside India or when your location cannot be identified. This check is not a consent message.
Advertising cookies
Advertising is enabled on eligible pages. Google AdSense may use cookies or similar tools to show and measure ads. The privacy choices available to you depend on your visit and the rules that apply.
If advertising is used, Google or other advertising services may use cookies or similar tools. Our privacy policy explains how those services and your choices may work.
Managing saved data
Use your browser settings to clear cookies, local storage or cached files. You can also block some types of storage. The exact steps depend on your browser. Removing saved files may make the next search take longer, and removing your theme choice will reset it.
